The objective of Golf Solitaire is to move all cards from the seven tableau columns to the waste pile.
Players move cards from the columns to the waste pile, alternating between cards of consecutive rank (e.g., 6 to 7 or 7 to 6).
The game progresses as players make these moves and draw cards from the stock pile.
Game complexity: Easy
Odds of winning: High, more than half of 10 games
Allowed moves:
‣ Move a card from a tableau column to the waste pile if it's one rank higher or lower than the top card on the waste pile.
‣ Draw a card from the stock pile to the waste pile.
Only the top card of a tableau column can be moved.
Only one card can be drawn from the stock pile per turn.
There is no redeal; once the stock pile is depleted, the game ends.
In this variation, Aces and Kings cannot be played on each other.
Score for a Golf Solitaire is a sum of seconds spend for a game and moves done during it.
InSolitaire.com allows you to retract your last move with "Undo".
