The objective of Scorpion Solitaire is to move all cards to the four foundation piles, building sequences in descending order by suit from King to Ace.
Players progress by moving cards between the tableau piles and the foundation piles, following specific rules of rank and suit.
Game complexity: Easy
Odds of winning: Bad, only a few of 10 games
Allowed moves:
‣ Move sequences of cards from one tableau pile to another, as long as the top card of the destination pile is one rank higher and of the same suit.
‣ Move Kings to empty tableau piles.
‣ Deal cards from the tail to the first three tableau piles.
‣ Move completed sequences to the foundation piles.
Cards can only be moved in descending order by suit.
Only Kings can be placed on empty tableau piles.
Score for a Scorpion Solitaire is a sum of seconds spend for a game and moves done during it.
InSolitaire.com allows you to retract your last move with "Undo".
Don't forget to check your statistics – for that choose the Statistics item from the More menu in the top right corner.
Decks: A single standard 52-card deck is used.
Piles: 7 Tableau piles: Each pile starts with seven cards, some face-down. 4 Foundation piles: For building sequences in descending order by suit. 1 Tail pile: Three face-down cards.
Deal: Cards are dealt to the tableau piles, with the first three cards of the first four piles face-down. The remaining three cards are placed face-down in the tail pile.
The tail pile provides additional cards to the tableau, which can be crucial for completing sequences. However, dealing cards from the tail should be timed strategically to avoid creating dead-end situations.
